Let me tell you all about Rio…

Mapa04.png

Rio de Janeiro is Luana’s hometown and truly an amazing city. Unique architecture wraps itself around sharp peaks, lagoons, and stunning beaches. March is one of the most beautiful times of the year to be there. Make our wedding your winter escape in 2022! We recommend using our wedding as an excuse to explore Brazil, and we have lots of tips for you for any length of time you have to travel.

If you aren’t able to spend time in Brazil before or after the wedding, don’t worry! Our scheduled events will be hosted in some of the most iconic locations in Rio; the parties on the beach in Leblon and Ipanema, followed by the wedding in the middle of the rainforest with a view of Christ Redeemer. You are going to leave our wedding a little bit Brazilian.

In this map you can see the airports, important tourist attractions and important locations during our weekend. We recommend staying at the Janeiro Hotel in Lebon where we have reserved a block of rooms. The beach volleyball tournament on Thursday will take place right in front of the hotel and the Shabbat dinner will be within walking distance.

Once we have a final count of babies and small children we will provide childcare options for parents. Please indicate if you are bringing children in the RSVP form.

Where to stay…

Janeiro Hotel

It would mean so much to us if all of our guests stay at the same place, so have made arrangements with Janeiro Hotel in Leblon Beach to create a special experience for our wedding guests. It’s a brand new hotel with views of the iconic Dois Irmãos mountains and an amazing design aesthetic. Please confirm in your RSVP form if you would like to reserve a room there ($200-$250/night depending on the room type). Once we have confirmed your intent to stay at the hotel, we will provide you with room options and help you facilitate your booking confirmation. The hotel has a rooftop pool, a restaurant and a beach kiosk where they can provide assistance for a beach day (chairs, towels, drinks etc).
